Building The Future Together

Our work is challenging, particularly intellectually challenging, and we value the hard work and the educational pursuits of our employees and their children.  The Hunzinger Construction Company scholarship is offered to children of employees attending any accredited college, university or trade school. The completed scholarship applications are reviewed by a five-member committee of Hunzinger employees who make the recommendations. The scholarships were announced at our Annual Q3 Awards Ceremony in mid-November.

We congratulate this year’s scholarship winners Christopher Caspari, Sarah Christenson, Adeline Davies and Jenna Klermund.

Christopher Caspari is attending the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and is studying to become a Physical Therapist.  He is a junior and a scholar athlete, playing D3 Football.   His dad is longtime Superintendent Brad Caspari.

Chris’s application essay emphasized the importance of Brad’s work ethic and the impact that had on him growing up. This inspired him to start a Landscaping and Snow Removal Company while in High School.

Sarah
Christenson is in graduate school at the UW-Lacrosse studying Psychology.  She is working while attending school and is the daughter of Hunzinger Superintendent Scott Christenson.

Adeline Davies is the daughter of Dan Davies Senior Project Manager at Hunzinger.  Adie is attending the UW-Madison, he dad’s alma mater, and is studying to be a nurse.  Adie’s application included an essay was entitled “The Wall of Gold” about the worker wall at Miller Park that her dad’s name is on and the committee noted that they got a little teary eyed by her reflections.  Something to note about Addie, she was named the Valedictorian of her Graduating Class and is currently carrying a 4.0 at the University of Wisconsin.

Jenna Klermund is the daughter of longtime Hunzinger Superintendent Dave Klermund.  She is attending Mount Mary University and is working while going to school.  She works at the Trader Joe’s at Bayshore.
