Hunzinger Construction Company recently hosted a successful evening with matches of “Bigs” and “Littles” from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee and Waukesha County. The purpose of the event was to introduce the kids to the construction industry as a possible career and have some fun doing it. Both boys and girls were encouraged to attend. The evening began with a hands on presentation of safety equipment that concluded with “match teams” competing on a safety obstacle course and equipment testing challenge.
After everyone caught their breath, each child built their very own wooden candy dispenser working with their match and a seasoned Hunzinger superintendent. They were all thrilled to impress their families with their new construction skills and to take home a working and stocked candy dispenser!
