Building The Future Together

As a family owned company whose owner’s value secondary education, an annual family scholarship fund was established and grants scholarships that can total $3,000 annually.

The scholarship is offered to children of employees attending any accredited college, university or trade school.  The completed scholarship applications are reviewed by a five-member committee of Hunzinger employees who make the recommendations.  The scholarships were announced at our Annual Q3 Awards Ceremony in late October.  We congratulate this year’s scholarship winners:

Allison Hollman, daughter of Superintendent Jack Hollman and a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  Allison is a graduate of Oak Creek High School where she was on the Honor Roll, active in Future Business Leaders of America, Best Buddies and served as a mentor to freshman.  She was on the swim team all 4 years and Captain her senior year.  She is excited about starting this new chapter of her life and is committed to her schoolwork and staying involved in activities.  Allison credits her dad as a great example for her always expressing the importance of hard work, stronger leadership and always seeing a task or project through to completion.

Emma Jansen is the daughter of Jon Jansen Project Executive and Vice President of Project Management Development.  Emma is a junior at the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she is majoring in Dietetics and plans to graduation in May of 2018.  A graduate of Pewaukee High School, Emma was on National Honor Society and a Varsity Soccer, Volleyball and Basketball player.  She has a passion for fitness and has a professional goal of receiving her Personal Training License before graduating college, becoming a Registered Dietitian within 5 years of graduation, and opening her own gym to work with those in need of nutritional advice helping them find a positive and healthy balance in their lives.
