The long-awaited opening of the American Family Insurance Amphitheater was held today for a select group of invitees and the local media. “We improved every element of this building from dressing rooms to bars, from new restrooms to accessible seating, from expanded public concourses to adding much requested and necessary cupholders,” Milwaukee World Festival CEO Don Smiley said at the media event. “The new American Family Insurance Amphitheater creates a world-class live music experience for fans, artists and sponsors alike.”
