Kevin O’Toole, Executive Vice-President at Hunzinger received one of the highest national Eagle Scout recognitions, the National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award or “NOESA” from the Boy Scouts of America.
At a recent Friday morning staff meeting, Hunzinger welcomed Leo Lesch, President of our local Boy Scout of America council, the Potawatomi Area Council. He was joined by Paul Schwartz, Current CEO; Dave Peterson, a Past Council President and current VP of Legal; Brett Miller, also a Past President and current board member; and Hunzinger’s own Dave Dell’Agnese the VP of Programs and Assistant Scoutmaster at Troop 183 in Brookfield.
The NOESA was established during the BSA’s 100th Anniversary back in 2010 with the first recipient to receive the award in 2011. This award was created to recognize notable Eagle Scouts who had either performed distinguished service at the local, state, regional, or national levels. Worthy candidates have inspired others through their actions and have devoted a lifetime to their profession, avocation, community, and beliefs, at great sacrifice to themselves and their families. Previous recipients include prominent business leaders, military flag officers, scientists, government officials, explorers, television personalities, and famous authors.
In presenting the award to Kevin O’Toole, Lesch recognized KOT’s service in multiple organizations both local and nationally noting KOT has selflessly served on the National Board of Directors the Make-A-Wish Foundation and still serves on the National Board of Directors of Musicians On Call and the National Association of General Contractors. Being a person of great faith and knowing that music heals, Kevin’s efforts brought Musicians On Call to Wisconsin. Musicians On Call brings live and recorded music to the bedside of healing patients and caregivers in healthcare facilities across our nation.
Dave Dell’Agnese said it was his special privilege to present the NOESA award to KOT and it reads:
Whereas, Kevin O’Toole earned the rank of EAGLE SCOUT as a member of the Boy Scouts of America 52 years ago, on April 22, 1969; and Whereas, as an Eagle Scout he has continued to serve God, his country, and other people by following the principles of the Scout Oath and Scout Law; and has provided exemplary service in the local community, the Great State of WI, and the Nation as a member of National Make a Wish Board of Directors, the National Musicians on Call Board of Directors, and the National Association of General Contractors Board of Directors, Whereas, he has achieved distinction as a Local Make-A-Wish Donor Champion Award recipient and an Icon of Construction Award; and having mentored Hunzinger Construction to receive awards and recognitions too numerous to list since 1998, and:
