Henricksen, a full spectrum office furniture solutions provider for over 51 years is located at 3070 Gateway Road in Brookfield, WI. Henricksen engaged Hunzinger for its renovation project as General Contractor/Construction Manager. Henricksen wanted a completely new office configuration to highlight their expanding capabilities. Teaming with HGA Architects, Henricksen designers collaborated to design a completely new modern office in their existing space.

The renovation was completed in two phases of work to allow the business to operate in its existing location. Completely new finishes and a new office layout highlight their many systems, case goods, seating, filing, and architectural office products was completed in four months. Work included relocation of the main entry, and a new monument sign to direct visitors to a renovated waiting area. New conference rooms were constructed with expanded audio–visual equipment to support their extensive client education mission. A new library, kitchen, lounge, accent lighting, color scheme, and reception desk form a dramatic backdrop for the many innovative products sold by Henricksen. Open office workstation configurations of all sizes, types, heights, and scales illustrate the capabilities of Henricksen designers, and provide a dynamic and exciting living laboratory that their employees use daily. When Henricksen made the decision to renovate our Milwaukee Area showroom, we decided to build with Hunzinger Construction. Their personal attention to detail and their past experience in working with our design team at HGA was paramount to that decision. Hunzinger’s occupied space safety record was of importance to the success of the showroom’s complete renovation because our staff resided in the space during construction and our customers regularly needed access the showroom space. We relocated our main entrance, added a new reception area, relocated our main conference room, added an efficient training space, dramatically changed ceiling heights, built a hospitality area for customers and employees, and updated finishes and flooring that accent multiple office furniture vignettes. Our Project Manager Dave Dell Agnese delivered the project on budget and completed the work with little interruption to our sales process. I would definitely recommend them again for any size project.
